It’s all about trust, that’s our word for this month. There’s been a request for me to keep going with picking a word every month and just kind of taking it apart and getting the energy of what that word can create and does create for you.
My question for you is, “Are you trusting your excuses greater than you do you?” How many of us put something off? I know that if I don’t do this, it won’t happen. You can trust that if you don’t create that time or space for you to actually create in, it’s not going to happen.
Making the excuses
But we make the excuse. I don’t have enough time, I don’t know what to say, I don’t, I can’t. So my question for you is, “Are you trusting in those excuses more than in your knowing … of what’s required … of what creates the greatest amount of possibilities?
If I choose this, what could this create in my life and my living, and go with that knowing. I heard this recently and I love it. Procrastination takes a long time. You’ve got whatever it is that’s being required of you, whether it’s research, whether it’s picking up the phone, whether it’s just going forward and taking that next step with what you’re creating and you’re putting it off. So, you trust that if you put it off, you won’t succeed. That’s #fearofsuccess.
If you don’t put that effort in, make that time, discipline yourself enough to show yourself the rewards of moving forward, the rewards of trusting in your knowing, how much are you actually trusting? If you don’t go near what you’re asking to create, everything will be fine because you’ll always be that same person you were before you actually took your next best step.
How many people have a point of view about what trust is? You know, I bet that if you actually sat with this for just a minute and asked yourself, “Am I making my excuses greater than me?” You’ll get some really cool awareness.
Trust your knowing
“Are you willing to trust that you actually know what will create the greatest amount of possibilities?” Nothing just happens, we create everything. I’m going to leave you with that one and a reminder that procrastination takes a longer time out of the life you’re living, your creations, than actually putting your next best step forward.
I wonder, what is it that you’re willing to trust in you today, that’s greater than the excuses you’ve been giving yourself about why you can’t do something. Write them down, be present with it and let it go. The joy is in the creation.
Live boldly, love greatly, and be that fearless leader that you came here to be. Trust that you know, because the world needs more of you and that special sauce. Not less. Until next time.
