The other day I was having a conversation with myself,
as one does,
asking questions about creating.
“Where do we put ourselves on hold and what do we love about waiting for someone else to give us the green light?”
“How often do we go to someone for reassurance that we’re in the right lane, that we’re building on a solid foundation, that what we are creating will bring in what we’re asking for?”
The truth is, what creates the greatest amount of possibilities, is quite simple:
* jump in;
* put your creations out there, no matter what it looks like, no matter what it takes;
* congratulate yourself and your creation;
* acknowledge and appreciate you – for who you are, for what you are becoming, for the 7 league boots you wear.
Seven-league boots are an element in European folklore. The boot allows the person wearing them to take strides of seven leagues per step, resulting in great speed. The boots are often presented by a magical character to the protagonist to aid in the completion of a significant task.
The truth is no one else has the answer for what you’re capable of and where you can go;
This is your magical ride!
My question is:
Where are you stopping you?
What lies behind us
and what lies before us
are tiny matters
compared to what lies within us.
– Ralph Waldo Emerson
If you missed part 1, here is a recap on Part 1: Finding Out What You Want, where we talked about how if you have an awareness of what your foundation is created from, then take an aerial view of how you are creating, who you are creating with, what futures are you creating with and ask is this in alignment?
Watch this related Ask Susan episode that examines in more depth how congruency is an alignment with what you are asking to create, what you are creating and who you be. We discuss this and more in this episode of Ask Susan where we talk about truly asking yourself what your foundation is created with and seeing if that actually works in alignment with who you be, what you be, and what you are asking to put out in the world and what you came here to this planet to be and do.
