What do you choose to create today?

Have you ever been caught in a “push me, pull me”?
That’s where we hold onto the past while asking to create a bright new future.

Or, to use a different example, it’s like driving a car with one foot on the gas and the other on the brakes.

When we energetically hold on to what we’re creating, we get stuck in a loop that has us totally distracted by constantly assessing, judging, correcting and cleaning up what is instead of moving forward.

Then, after all that busy work, we walk away disappointed with ourselves when we realize that we haven’t done anything to move us forward.

2 Tools

This week, as our theme is all about creating, I am offering you some tools to assist you in letting go of what isn’t working for you and, in turn, playing with what is:

  1. Play with this: Shift how you are with your creations. Instead of saying “What if I did create this…”, try “I AM creating this…”
That statement alone moves you from the past into the present
  2. When you get up in the morning, instead of going over everything you haven’t done, remind yourself that it is a brand new day. You get to choose, so ask yourself, “What is it that I’m asking to create today?”

I wonder what that could look like for you?

Comment below and let me know how these work for you.

And, speaking of questions…

Here’s one that popped for me from Claire Gowdy, a member of our Congruent Living Facebook group:

Susan,
I would love to know/have more info about creating with my team. I ask questions and it still seems me who is pulling or not pulling the projects. Sometimes I am beyond questions. Lately I am realizing I am the question and creations still stays in the idea phase. What else is possible? What is true co-creation even?

Questions are so important to move us from where we are to where we are asking to be.
Send them in to me right here or pop them onto our Congruent Living Facebook as I’ll be picking one every week for Thursday’s Ask Susan Live Q &A.

Loving you big time!

Live boldly, love greatly, and be that fearless leader you came here to be because the world needs more of you and that special sauce!

Big hugs,

Susan

I wonder what we can create to change what isn’t working into something far greater.
