You’re Changing What?

You’re Changing What?

Tue. 27 Aug 2019  |  Nurturing You

Last week we talked about the season of change within, that awareness that change is imminent. No matter the choice, the will or the way, change is always around us.
Shall I repeat that?
Change is constant –  it’s not an end zone.
Change is constant, it’s a part of who we be.

True dat!!

No matter what you are creating with your life, it’s likely you are moving through at least one or more changes.

It could be changes in your relationships, your family, your health, your home, your spiritual life, your finances – and the list goes on.

You may be hearing advice from friends and family to get over it…move on…get back into action…get on with your life!

This strategy of just getting over whatever is happening in your life may work for a time, but in the end, it’s quite likely you’ll be right back where you started before too long: frustrated, confused, and worried that you’ll be in this state forever.

The reason “getting over it” doesn’t work is that any time you make decisions and choices from the place of who-you-have-been, you are, by definition, limiting all possibilities.

We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used when we created them.
— Albert Einstein

Did you ever notice that with all the changes going on all around you, life is never the same…and as a result, you are changing, even though it may not “feel” like it?
I totally get it…
I’ve been there so many times!

You may not like the change you are in right now,
so trust me,
if you start to listen to the whispers of change calling you, tugging you, creating for you what you require will also be different.

Ready to surf the way of different?
Spoiler alert –
How we evolve is based on
asking whether you are choosing to make changes in your life.
To find your way through any kind of change, you must explore who-you-are-becoming. This is one of the most important pivots you can make as you navigate any transition in your life.

If what you were doing wasn’t working to begin with, creating something new based on who-you-have-been will not work.
The old adage comes to mind: If you keep doing what you’ve been doing, you’ll keep getting what you’ve been getting.

Ready for something different?
